We're currently planning Summer Meal operations for MON-THURS, June 23 - August 21  and we're excited to better understand what matters most to the families we serve. ODE Child Nutrition Programs has created a simple, user-friendly form to collect your preferences and priorities regarding summer meals.

* The Summer Meals Program is community-based, providing free lunches to ALL children 18 and younger. We've traditionally set up several summer camps and public sites around Redmond (parks, library, swim center, schools, churches) and children have been required to consume their meals on-site. This year, we may have an opportunity to allow children to grab & go with their meal. Your feedback and participation are valuable to make sure we understand how and where we can reach the most families. Look for a Summer Meals announcement of locations and times closer to the end of the school year once our plan is approved by ODE.

Thank you everyone,! We had over 200 responses and our SFSP applications have been submitted to the State for approval for operating MON-THURS, June 23 to AUG 21.

Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity for home delivery of Summer Meals, but we are asking for approval to expand out to Terrebonne and allow grab & go (non-congregate) service wherever allowable.

Stay tuned for details about our Summer Meal Program as the end of the school year winds down. Without our community's participation in the program, it cannot be financially viable for us.
