The proposed bond measure is estimated not to increase the current tax rate. Redmond School District will upgrade and update all of our schools to provide healthy, safe, and secure campuses that are modern and efficient. The district will expand the student capacity and prepare for future growth by building 6 additional classrooms at both Vern Patrick Elementary School and Tom McCall Elementary School.

Online Registration & Verification

Redmond School District has opened online student registration and verification for all students for the 2020-21 school year.

Using ParentVue, the district’s parent portal, parents or guardians can securely register new or verify returning student information in all grade levels. This significantly reduces the traditional paper documentation that was previously completed in person then hand-delivered to schools.

To register new students or verify returning student information, parents can visit the district website at and click the online registration link on the home page.

9th Grade Orientation Postponed

We have made the very difficult decision to postpone 9th grade orientation that was scheduled for this Friday, September 18th and Monday, September 21st.  The current smoke levels outside and in the building, as well as not knowing how long the poor air quality conditions will linger, make postponement necessary.  Once the smoke has left our area and air quality conditions improve to healthy levels we will reschedule this very important 9th Grade orientation.

We know that you are likely as disappointed as we are.  Rest assured that our preparations to welcome our 9th graders, in-person in these small cohort groups, will make this an EPIC orientation event! When dates are determined, we will let you know immediately.

Students, please plan to attend your CDL CANVAS classes on Friday and Monday.  If you have any questions, please contact us here at Ridgeview; 541.504.3600.

The Central Oregon College Fair will be going virtual this year. There are 150 different colleges/universities that will be participating this year and the reps from these institutions are eager to answer questions in a virtual setting.

There are 4 dates & times to choose from:

Monday, Oct 5 @ 9am – noon
Tuesday, Oct 6 @ 4 – 7pm
Wednesday, Oct 7 @ 10am – 1pm & 4 – 7pm
Thursday, Oct 8 @ 4 – 7pm

Registration and additional details can be found at:
