I hope this message finds you well. If you have already attended your school's open house this past week or have one scheduled for the upcoming week, we wanted to ensure you have accurate information regarding the 2024 proposed bond for the Redmond School District.

The proposed bond represents the second phase of a two-part construction program aimed at making long-term repairs and expanding opportunities for students within our district. If passed, this bond would continue the current estimated tax rate.

One critical issue addressed by this bond is the 50-year-old HVAC hydronic pipes at Redmond High School. These systems are currently leaking and could fail catastrophically within the next five years. Such a failure could lead to flooding and exposure to toxic asbestos.
