Schedule Change
Students are expected to attend and successfully complete all scheduled courses. Every effort is made to enroll students in their first choice of elective courses, using alternates when necessary. Course offerings are based on student forecasting requests. Some courses may not be offered due to low student enrollment or other circumstances. It is important that students carefully select elective courses. Not all courses are offered every period each trimester.
▪Students and families should make intentional decisions when forecasting in the spring. Access the information available (official course guides, counseling website,
informational videos) before choosing a class for next year’s schedule.
▪Schedules will be available electronically in StudentVUE/ParentVUE at the beginning of each trimester.
▪Schedules changes are submitted electronically, SCHEDULE CHANGE FORM
▪Schedules will not be changed for teacher or period preference.
▪Student schedule changes will only be honored if a student is misplaced.
▪Schedule changes should be made within the first ten school days of the trimester to avoid an F on the student’s permanent high school transcript.
